In 1936 Jim Ramsay saw a need for a pipe, valve and fitting warehouse in the Pittsburgh industrial market. Opening a facility on the North Side, the business soon required a larger facility and moved to Etna where Allegheny Pipe & Supply Company continued to grow.
In 1955, Mr. Ramsay moved the operation to Groveton, in Robinson Township, where the new facility and surrounding property would allow for expansion for years to come, under the direction of Mr. Ramsay and his son-in-law, Mr. Phil Morse.
Today, Allegheny Pipe & Supply Company is regarded as a prime distributor of carbon and stainless steel pipe, valves, fittings and related products with onsite cutting, grooving, and threading capabilities. With an inside and outside sales team combining over 200 years of experience and a dedicated warehouse and office staff, your piping requirements are expedited in a professional manner.
Under the leadership of Mr. Ramsay’s grandsons, Jim and Tom Morse, Allegheny Pipe & Supply Company will continue to expand and prosper into the future.
